General Tso’s Chicken is a beloved dish on Chinese take-out menus everywhere. But the original version with its deep fried battered chicken is not the best choice on the menu for someone trying to eat right. In this lightened up version however I’ve used an oven fried method for the chicken before tossing those crispy pieces of chicken into a sauce with healthier ingredients. Serving the chicken with broccoli and rice will help to make this a well rounded meal. You won’t miss anything about the original.
